Oct 21, 2020 at 19:26 comment added bendl @yeah22 I didn't actually intend that you should remove the section, only clarify that there was probably some sort of fraud, just not likely fake votes. Voter harvesting is still illegal in most places, but there is a perception that faking a vote is much easier than it is.

Oct 20, 2020 at 20:44 comment added Stefan Skoglund @bendl many countries (most) has a requirements on voter turnout for such an referendum for the result to be accredited. 400 votes from a group of 5000 ? That is with those rules basically not eligible and so would be unimplementable or a target of litigation.
Oct 20, 2020 at 14:53 comment added bendl I'd like to point out on the point of Bell, California, on the subject of "Fake" votes, I haven't seen any evidence in my quick search that the ballots were actually fake. Harvested, almost certainly, but at the present moment in politics, I think pretty great care should be taken on the subject of fake ballots. More than likely as I see it, those people did intend to vote for the measure they voted for.
