They think it's mandatory or accept cases. This SCOTUS ruling said "you can't even file, because you can't offer a reason to be heard." Alito specifically said he would have allowed them to file, and THEN would have voted to reject their case. So their partial dissent wasn't really about this case, specifically. | |
