F-16 is the highest tech jet fighter PAF can have access to. This is firstly, because of budgetary constraint; secondly, Indian influence on the non-Chinese arms market. | |

So what makes the (75) F-16 still the "mainstay of the Pakistan Air Force"? They seem to have only 18 Block52 F-16s, the rest seem pretty ancient, from the 1980s. Oh, I see AM/BM are modernized somewhat closer to that. | |
