I would like however to stress again that most of Israelis are not immigrants anymore - but born in Israel. Also, Political Zionism is not just about safe heaven - it is about a nation-state, on European model, as codified by the UN charter. | |

The situation has however changed: Israel has been a dangerous place for decades, but many Jews still prefer to go there. What is more important - there are several generations born and raised in Israel, who regard Israel as their only country. | |
