It seems to me this is just a say-so repetition based on a Politico opinion/assessment cited to an unnamed "Israeli official" of the gap [or lack thereof] in positions, rather than anything more detailed. – Of course Israel's government is going to minimize the importance of any difference of opinions with the US. | |
