From Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted - 821 non-citizens were registered to vote. Of those, 126 cast votes. “When you consider that in Ohio we have had 112 elections decided by one vote or tied in the last three years, every case of illegal voting must be taken seriously and elections officials must have every resource available to them to respond accordingly.” while none of those votes actually affected the one-vote elections, it is clearly a problem. Now who does not have an ID? If you are poor and collect welfare, you have to provide an ID to collect/register, if you have a bank account you need an ID, if you have utilities you need an ID, if you drive a car you need an ID, if you have car insurance you need an ID, if you have cable or satellite TV you need to give them identifying information to get the service, if you enroll a child in school you need an ID, if you cash a paycheck you need an ID, if you collect unemployment you have to have had a job to have someone to collect against which means you need an ID, if you have a prepaid debit card you need an ID to activate it.
When the democrats made a big deal of this a few years past they had a black girl from Texas fly to DC to make a point that it was too hard for her to get an ID. Of course she needed an ID to get on the plane! Name someone who is part of or has at some point been part of legal society that does not have an ID.
Democrats claim that it's somehow too difficult for poor African Americans to get an ID or be part of society, but the reality is that not requiring enables fraud. At my voter location in 2008 a woman brought in 7 mentally handicapped people to vote. They had no idea where they were, the voter officials asked them to each make their mark, then asked their escort (they could not interact with her) if they knew how to use the machine their escort said, "It's okay. They are all voting straight Democrat."
If someone truly does not have an ID or can not understand how to get one or have the ability to communicate to someone that they need to get one, and have no contact with banking, travel, no internet or television, no home, no welfare or any other interaction that requires some form of ID, how can they possibly make an informed decision about who to vote for? How do they even know there is an election?
Remember in 1876, Democrats printed ballots for their presidential candidate Tilden but used the image of Lincoln to fool illiterate blacks and Republicans. Voter fraud is nothing new.
