In the most basic sense feminism is fighting for equal rights between men and women.

What rights do men have in the United States that women don't have?

Please note that Politics Stack Exchange is not a discussion forum. The questions we ask here are not meant to start debates. They are meant to request factual answers. That's why we generally avoid personal opinions when phrasing questions. This is why this question got closed. In order to make this question fit this website, I edited it to remove the personal opinions from it and reopened the question. – Philipp Jun 25 '19 at 8:26
  • @Philipp the examples I used were factual. Even using simple logic one can see that the examples I used were factual. – Jordan Herget Jun 25 '19 at 8:30

The examples you made were unnecessary to explain to the reader what the question was about. They were just inviting debate. If you want to discuss your arguments with other people, then you might want to use a more discussion-oriented website for this. – Philipp Jun 25 '19 at 8:31

This is not a discussion forum, nor is it a free billboard for your opinion. If you don't like the statistics and therefor decide to move the goalposts on what should be controlled for, that doesn't make the statistics false. – DonFusili Jun 25 '19 at 9:02

By the way, we also have a question about the interpretation of the adjusted vs. the unadjusted gender pay gap specifically: Why is the gender pay gap quoted at 20% even though it's lower when controlling for variables? – Philipp Jun 25 '19 at 9:30

Women don't have the right to control their own bodies in a growing number of states.

Also, the Equal Rights Amendment still hasn't been ratified to enshrine equal rights between sexes, and, tellingly perhaps a few states have actually rescinded their ratification since.

Comments deleted. This is not a place to debate abortion. However, in order to avoid such discussions from arising, I would recommend to edit this answer to point out that the ethics of abortion are a matter of debate. IMO it would be sufficient to point out that "many feminists believe" women should have the right to abortion. – Philipp Jun 25 '19 at 9:23
