I am looking for some papers (or journals) about the public's awareness about CBDC in global context or within-country context. The main questions I am concerning is which topics or regulations that the public discuss about regarding CBDC.

I tried to search the "CBDC awareness" from Google Scholar but I did not see any promising results.

    It's both a new and old topic. Formally, the US FED has only officially started announcing its consideration of it last year see here. China's CDBC has only 260MM users and a tiny $13b in transactions as of Jan22, since being very introduced on a test basis about 2 years ago. But as far as the public, IMO it's just another electronic payment, and those are used daily without a thought by everyone.
