There is a democracy which is named as "direct",that would offer a solution ,but it is hard to implement in scale(if not impossible)

Another good idea that exists (in European thought) is the plain vanilla analogical democracy ,where each party gets a percent of the seats in parliament according to the number of votes in the general elections.

But these kind of solution would require a Constitutional review ,which takes (if can be provoked) time and needs long deliberations and thought. In short ,if you hope to find ways to stop those who exploit democracy for their own purpose, you too (like most of us) are in a bad spot.

People allowed the corruption of the meaning of democracy ,the evolution of words into different in essence meanings.Markets are the new freedom..? We allowed democracy to get corrupted and infiltrated by some greedy who act for their own benefit and just for that.

We accepted the myth of free markets and globalisation ,and we tried to find our place in it,only to wake yp to deregulation and global crisis. And the few still make profits. The 1% has now officially the license to destroy everything social struggles of the last 50 years had managed to earn for the majority of people in the west.(and some east states too).

Unless we all stand up for truth ,unless we give up the hope that we can somehow become all rich, and enjoy privileges that the 1% enjoys, unless we convince ourselves we need to care for each other if we are to survive, unless we turk our backs to globalisation of banksters and start dreaming again for a global world of peace, and cooperation, without greed and power races. But this will take for ever...if ever.

Greed is the enemy of all humans. And it has won.
