If a major MEDC was to leave the UN. What effect would it have on foreign relations with that country?

Let's say a major MEDC (More Economically Developed Country) was to leave the United Nations. What effect would this have with other countries in regards to foreign relations? Would there be less trade with this country? Will there be embargos? Will other countries withdraw military support?
