Why don't we see other countries testing missiles on a regular basis with public announcements?
@jbh not sure if sticking the sabre into someone chest counts a rattling. It doesn't even rattle.

Why don't countries copy Estonia's remote voting system, given its nearly flawless track record over 20 years?
@quarague re the reptilians, I think "no evidence has ever been believed by enough people to matter" would be more precise ;) I'm sure some people found plenty of "evidence" :P

Is it considered a war crime if an army uses civilians as detonation triggers to clear out tunnels and houses suspected to be booby-trapped?
How are they not shielding (i.e. being in the way of an attack) any military objective (soldier that wants to enter a tunnel) from an attack (trap)? I don't understand that argument.

Membership and offices in the Privy Council – what is the significance of the different predicates used to describe the transactions?
If you are in the secret club, you are allowed to affirm your status. If not, you must swear allegiance to the secret club. Bring declared marks you for immediate disposal. Unfortunately, everyone having read this must be declared.

Given there is no primary on the democratic side, why isn't there a push to get Democrat voters to vote Trump out in the primary?
@JoelFan if the only motivation is sabotage? It's an ethical question, not a legal one.

Saddening that the answer apparently isn't "because that's not what a democracy does".

Why is sending so few tanks to Ukraine considered significant?
@stackoverblown in relation to the number of atomic bombs currently in use in the war, 1 is a huge amount. In relation to what it would help Ukraine, one is probably irrelevant. So for the sake of argument, yours wasn't exactly on point.

What if no party crosses the electoral threshold in a parliamentary election?

Why does it take much longer to count the last few percentages of votes in some states?
Actually, the same google page, supposedly based on AP, says precincts in German and just total in English.

Then why has North Carolina been stuck at 94% for around 48 hrs now?
